What does FRESHWATER mean to you, your family, and your Community? 

Naut’sa mawt Tribal Council, in partnership with Island Trust, is extending an open call to all youth artists connected to Naut'sa mawt Tribal Council or connected to communities in the Islands Trust to enter our  art contest! 

Who can enter:

This contest is open to all youth (under 30 yrs old)  connected to the following Nations within the Islands Trust area and all NmTC Member Nations.

Prizes:

  • Artwork featured in the Indigenous Value of Water project 

  • $500 cash award for First Place

  • $250 cash award for Second Palce

  • $150 cash award for Third Place

Submission Deadline: 
Extended to Oct 31st, 2021

  • You warrant and represent that you own all the legal rights to the artwork or video that you are submitting to the contest .

  • We take no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. 

  • You give Naut'sa mawt Tribal Council permission to showcase your entry in the Indigenous Value of Water project and use your name for the sole purpose of identifying you as the author of your entry.

  • If you are a winner, you grant Naut'sa mawt Tribal Council non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to republish your Competition entry in any format for purposes connected with the Indigenous Value of Water Project; and the right to use your name for the sole purpose of identifying you as the author of your entry
