EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTRE RESOURCES
Indigenous Services Canada passed over its emergency response program to Emergency Management BC (EMBC), so EMBC is currently responsible for assisting First Nations and coordinating the response to the non-health-related needs of First Nations communities and all local governments in the province. The Naut’sa mawt Tribal Council’s COVID-19 Task Group was formed to assist member nations in working with EMBC and other government agencies that are responding to the pandemic. The Task Group can be reached at covid19@nautsamawt.com
To assist members in the EMBC process and in setting up an Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) process to coordinate community activities, the NmTC COVID-19 Task Group has begun a series of webinars. Members are contacted in advance:
