Indigenous youth between the ages of 19-29 are invited to apply for a short-term contract opportunity with Naut’samawt Tribal Council and Islands Trust restoring native plants along a stream on Salt Spring Island in November 2021. You will join a small restoration crew that will work under the guidance of a restoration specialist and traditional knowledge keepers. This is a paid position. The work is scheduled to take place over five days in November, exact dates to be determined by participant availability. Travel and accommodations costs will be covered.
