At Naut’sa mawt Tribal Council (NmTC), we believe in the potential of young people to make a real difference in their communities. That’s why we’re excited to offer an opportunity for Member Nation youth to join the Youth Council—a program that encourages growth, builds confidence, and helps shape the next generation of leaders.
If you know a young person who cares deeply about their community and is eager to grow as a leader, this could be the perfect fit for them.

What is the Youth Council?
The Youth Council provides a space where Member Nation youth can:
Build practical leadership skills and grow their confidence
Strengthen their communication abilities to share ideas effectively
Deepen their connection to culture and language
Form meaningful relationships with peers and mentors
This program isn’t just about learning—it’s about creating a supportive environment where youth can explore their potential, honor cultural traditions, and take steps toward becoming the leaders their communities need.
Why Join?
Being part of the Youth Council opens doors to experiences that will help youth succeed both now and in the future. This is a fantastic opportunity for any young person looking to grow, connect, and make a difference.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for enthusiastic, community-minded youth who are ready to embrace new opportunities and grow as individuals. If you are eager to learn, share your voice, and contribute to something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you!
