Technical Services

Purpose: The Tribal Council’s role in providing technical services is to build capacity, provide economies of scale and improve the quality of infrastructure and physical services available in member First Nation communities by assisting, advising and supporting our members in a broad range of technical areas, including:

  • Planning, designing, managing, operating and maintaining community facilities and infrastructure.
  • Managing special services like mould remediation and/or renovations.
  • Developing five-year capital and infrastructure plans.
  • Developing and applying policies, standards, codes and regulations for technical service areas.
  • Capacity building with professional associations and governments.
  • Coordinating training and development programs, staff selection and recruitment.
  • Providing risk management, engineering services, special programs and inspection services.
