Economic Development News - Take One

Print PDF

There has been a lot of talk about Economic Development in the Aboriginal world for the last decade or so. INAC talks about it. NmTC talks about it. Your First Nation talks about it. . . everyone talks about it!

But nobody actually says "this is economic development and here is how to go ahead and do it. . ." Why not?

I guess the easy answer is that there are no two situations that are alike so there is not one answer that fits for everyone. However, there are some common approaches that do apply for every opportunity. It is my hope that we can go over some of those in this space in the weeks and months ahead.

If you have something that is puzzling you, or you need help with, leave a comment here and we'll try to respond with a post on your topic. We'll leave it open like that and see where it leads us.

It is my hope that this space can become a useful, timely tool for you, our members, to move your ideas and your Nation's ideas forward. Let's see how we make out. . .
