Purpose: The Tribal Council’s role in providing community planning services is to support sustainable social, economic and physical development in First Nation communities by assisting, advising and supporting member First Nations in a broad range of planning activities, including:

• Assisting in creation of Comprehensive Community Plans;
• Formulating, planning, implementing and maintaining community development strategies;
• Producing and/or analysing studies, inventories, social analyses and impact assessments on the development and use of a community’s resources;
• Developing human resource capacity.
