About the Workshop
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Workshop participants will learn the steps, techniques and elements of what goes into organizing and creating a solid governance capacity development plan that reflects the actual needs and aspirations of their organization and community.
WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND
Starting fiscal year 2013-14, governance capacity development plans are required to access funding from Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada’s Professional and Institutional Development Program. Plus, they can be used to support applications to non-government capacity development funding programs, e.g. New Relationship Trust.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This one-day workshop (8:30am-4pm) is offered at no cost for NmTC member First Nations staff responsible for developing funding applications, as well as human resource and management personnel.
